ABOUT ASHLEYAshley Trantham began singing as soon as she was able to speak. She has studied voice for nearly 15 years, concentrating on classical techniques for about 12 years. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts from Sweet Briar College, where she sang with the college's choir, chamber choir, and a cappella group, Sweet Tones. Ashley also studied voice during her four years at Sweet Briar under the instruction of Professor Allen Huszti. After college, she received a Master of Science degree from North Carolina State University, where she sang with the all female a cappella group, the Packabelles. Ashley has performed with prestigious choirs including the National Cathedral Choral Society and the North Carolina Master Chorale. She also continues to sing with Catch 22, a local mixed a cappella group. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends and volunteering for the Scottish Terrier Rescue of the Carolinas.
