Ashley Trantham began singing as soon as she was able to speak. She has studied voice for nearly 15 years, concentrating on classical techniques for about 12 years. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts from Sweet Briar College, where she sang with the college's choir, chamber choir, and a cappella group, Sweet Tones. Ashley also studied voice during her four years at Sweet Briar under the instruction of Professor Allen Huszti. After college, she received a Master of Science degree from North Carolina State University, where she sang with the all female a cappella group, the Packabelles. Ashley has performed with prestigious choirs including the National Cathedral Choral Society and the North Carolina Master Chorale. She also continues to sing with Catch 22, a local mixed a cappella group. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends and volunteering for the Scottish Terrier Rescue of the Carolinas.
